I really enjoy the meetings, the format works well and the atmosphere is friendly, most importantly it is not too scary if you are new to networking.  I have made some valuable business contacts over the last year that I would not have found had it not been for The Business Community.

The Business Community has been extremely helpful to my business. The meetings are well run - they have a well-defined structure, but have a good mix of formality and informality. I enjoyed my first meeting at The Business Community. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Anyone new to networking would feel comfortable from the outset. The agenda was enjoyable, but business-like and informative. It was interesting to learn about all the other businesses around the table, and they showed a genuine interest in my business. What stood out for me was when we broke for a 10 minute 121 with another individual. That was a chance to establish a real connection with someone else in the room.

Roger started Essendon Accounts & Tax with Helen Beaumont in 2014. Roger loves ‘getting his hands dirty’, working with emerging, small-to-medium and family businesses to ensure they receive the best possible accountancy advice. He has been called a Business Godparent due to his caring, hands-on approach.

Matt is the founder and owner of ZincBooks. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2006, he enjoyed a successful career in commercial finance at Barclaycard, Carlsberg and Travis Perkins. Before founding ZincBooks, he had always been passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to both customers and clients alike. He prides himself on being able to identify the issues and then delivering solutions to resolve those issues – in a way that’s down-to-earth and friendly.
